Car Alarms: doors wont lock with remote, code alarm, eys

i have a 02 envoy w/ a code alarm and when i hit the remote to lock the doors they dont lock, but yet the horn chirps and i can hear the box make nose. i check fuses in box and 1 has no power? would the box be bad

Sure that can happen, So could being a bad door lock module
depending on the alarms capabilities.

I would have it inspected at the
local stereo/car alarm shop
to see if you need a repair here.

Without inspection, I am just spit balling
here. You need some eys on this that knows
the after market alarm system well.
