Car Alarms: Viper 160xv - alarm randomly goes off, viper alarm systems, good resources

Question
I bought a car that had the Viper 160xv remote starter/alarm already installed. I've had it for two days now and at 4am and 11am the alarm just goes on... (waking up the neighbors). The remote functions work fine. However, when I put the drivers side window down get out of the car and lock it with the remote then I manually unlock the car by reaching threw the window and open the door... there is no alarm. I'm not very familiar with the viper alarm systems but I'm sure that the alarm should have gone off. Any help with the 4 and 11 am wake up calls would be great.
