Car Alarms: Alarm prevents car from starting, valet mode, volvo 440

Question
Previously I ask a question but received answer that it is out of alarmtek expertise.

Based on my previous question I would like ask other question.

Previous question was:
My volvo 440 (year 1996)alarm was getting wrong some time ago. It was coming on any time. So we just use key to lock car and avoid alarm from going on.But we needed to open car with a keyfob(or how its called) so we could start the car, otherwise it wont start. It was fine with us, when suddenly one morning car didn't start at all. I got car to mechanic to be checked. He checked that everything is ok with car, but he said that its probably alarm(he is not electric, so can't help more about it). Using built in Diagnostic system under dash board, he managed to read codes and tell that its some fault with alarm. But couldn't tell any more specific. He called to electrician men, and electric  said that option would be bypass alarm, and said he would need to get wiring diagramms and to see whether he can do this. Not very promising. We don't care that alarm wont work, if only we will be able to start the car. But I'm confused that only option is bypass alarm. What you could su
ggest. What could be the problem with tha alarm? And what we could do?
Thanks!

But this is outside of my expertise.

Expert: ALARMTEK

So, now I would like to ask: Would putting car in to valet mode would disable alarm, if car's alarm system is faulty, probably some wiring burned, or something with immobilizer. Or are there any other ways to bypass/disable alarm.

Answer
Factory alarms do not have valet mode and again
my expertise is in the after market alarms and security end.

Try a Volvo blog or, possibly the dealership again to
clarify what system you are dealing with.

If it's an after market system see
past posts about VALET OVERRIDE.
