Car Alarms: viper replacement fob, courneya, button pad

Question
I pourchased a 2000 Chrysler 300 that has an aftermarket viper key fob. It is a four button pad that only locks and unlocks the doors. However, it is no longer synced to the car since the previous owner disconnected the battery. How do I resync the fob to work again?
