Car Alarms: Door Reminder, minute timer, car sense

Question
Hi,
I am looking to see/find a car alarm that will alert the operator if a door is unlocked when they walk away. I know that many have automatic arming, which will set the alarm automatically after X seconds when a door is closed and warn if a door is not closed properly. I'm wondering is there anything out there that can automatically lock the and/or warn if a door is not closed at all. Can the car sense the key fob is no longer near the car and beep if a door is open? Or do one of these 2-way systems show that a car door is open, even if it can't warn?

Thank you in advance

Answer
Most will have a chirp set up that reports
an open circuit, like a door/dome light staying
on when it arms.

(3 or 4 chirp instead of 1 chirp confirmation when the lock
button is pressed for instance.)

Standard to most all alarms now.

It won't arm itself either that way, unless there
is a delayed dome light feature set up for a 1 minute
timer to ignore the open circuit. But that has to be
set up at the request of the customer by the installer
in most cases.

There are alarms like the OMEGA SAMBRA Proximity / remoteless
alarms that can sense you coming up to the car and unlocks
or locks when you leave. But they are limited in
features and do well at just the keyless part.

There are 2 way systems like the ASTRA 777
that can determine which zone is breached and
report to the keychain. See www.PAGINGALARM.com ,
but you have the same issues there as well.
The feature settings must be done by the installer
so you have what you are looking for.

But yes, all doable. :>)
