Question
I have a 99 toyota avalon and i locked my keys in my trunk i had a man come and open the car door the alarm went off and i got the keys and turned it off i went to crank the car up and it wont start. Iv looked on the internet and it said look for a valet switch but could not find one. Thanks leah

If this is also a remote starter, the antenna on the
windshield may also have a buttun inset into it
that is the valet override.

But normally, it's drilled into a spot near the left
knee or, calf area into a plastic panel.

See the attached photo to identify it.

Then try, key on just before cranking,
press and hold in the button for up to
5 seconds or until you get a responce from
your siren, & lights.

Then key off. This should be reset.
Try to start it.

If it's a toggle type switch found,
key on, flip switch in oposite direction,
key off. This would be override.
Try and start the car.

Repeat these steps to go back into
arming mode when ready.
