Car Alarms: automate 474A on F150 stx, valet mode, 2005 ford f150

Question
The horn beep when activating or deactivating locks stopped beeping as did the panic button horn beep. The locks still unlock/lock. Any ideas on if it's a setting, broken, valet mode, service mode etc? It's on a 2005 Ford F150 stx that I just bought which did not have any instructions/manuals etc. Please advise.
