Car Alarms: my new alarm/remote starter, toyota rav 4, new toyota rav 4

I just bought a new Toyota Rav 4 and had an Auto mate alarm and remote starter installed.  I'm having trouble figuring out haow to work the whole thing.  The remote starter was explained but not the alarm......HELP
