Car Alarms: 1999Toyota Sienna security, shutdown system, auto responder

I have a 1999 Toyota  whose security shutdown system was activated by my wife when she exited out the passenger door. I have tried the deactivation procedures but to no avail. It is a RS3000 system. Suggestions?
