Car Alarms: Executive Security system - power door locks and cruise control not working, power door locks, shock sensor

Question
My car came with a dealer-installed Executive Alarm System (purchased 14 years ago).  Now the keyless remote no longer works to open/lock the car doors.  My cruise control also stopped working, and my mechanic said it is associated with the security system - both door locks and cruise control were on the same fuse or such.  Resetting the Executive system did not correct the problem.  From the www.installhelp.com website, I could not find someone in the San Francisco Bay Area, although I have not yet been to a BestBuys.  Owner's Manual (p.8 second paragraph) mentions an automatic locking of doors "feature can be turned on or off from inside the Executive Control Module."  Where is this module found?

Owner's Manual:

Thank you for help!

Atypical Car Alarm
The module or "brain box" would be to the right or left of
the steering column, wire tied up under the dash.

It will have several after market harnesses like the LED,
SHOCK SENSOR, DOOR LOCKS etc...

Then you can do as the manual suggests to correct
or change the mode needed, or to program the alarm to
do what you want.

Good luck. Sorry that no one in the SF area
is available. Not many requests for it there.

Have a nice day.
