Car Alarms: 1996 Toyota Camry, toyota camry, auto responder

Question
Please help! We replaced the terminals on the car battery and now the alarm goes off when the battery is connected. There is a keyless remote, but nothing seems to work to turn off the alarm. The battery has to be disconnected for it to stop. We are unable to drive the car, so please help!
