Car Alarms: sucurety, dash flashes, auto responder

Question
I recently bought a 96 civic ex drove it about a month and batt went bad on car so I changed it and it wouldn't start with the key but it is a standard shift and I push started it and it runs that way but the alarm or something won't let it start with the key all lights flash and red light on dash flashes to I have tried locking and unlocking drivers door tried cycling the ignition and nothing has worked 4 me yet if u have any suggestions I would apriceate the help it is all I have to drive at the moment
