QuestionI have had a dodge charger with a factory installed remote started for a little over a year now. A couple of nights ago I heard my car running outside. No one was touching the keys but the car started anyway. Should I be concerned? What could the cause possibly be and how do I ensure that it doesn't happen again?
AnswerProbably has a temp sensor that starts the vehicle at certain
temps, like too cold/ too hot. I would not worry.
Some even have a time every night or morning
that it will start the engine as a standard feature
daily.
Again, no worries there unless you park
inside a small garage and are unaware of
this function.
