Car Alarms: Re:Galaxy 5100RS, pin harness, starter wire

Question
1975 Olds Delta 88. Installed remote start, but TACH wire is not on the distributor cap next to the BAT wire. Does this alarm NEED the tach installed inorder for it to start the vehicle. AND, when the remote start is activated, the ignition lights come on on the dash, but it only clicks; DOESN'T start. I didn't connect the secondary brown wire on the 6-pin harness(should this be connected); I checked the purple and white wire on the car(should be the starter wire), and connected the violet wire from the 6-pin harness, but the car doesn't start. Should the hood pin be installed for it to start as well? Your help would be GREATLY appreciated at this point

Answer
Very sorry, but this system will only work on a fuel injected,
automatic transmission vehicle.

I would not want to assist on this project.
It's dangerous and is strongly discouraged!
