Car Alarms: My Alarm, ford mustang, auto responder

Hello, i just recently bought a 2002 Ford Mustang, and the remote was not included in the buy. But i was wondering if you could help me by giving me instructions on disabling the alarm. Because when the battery is "hooked up" it continues to act as if i am stealing the car and locking me out and sounding an alarm.
