Question
QUESTION: i bought a 90 maxima 2 weeks ago and it was running great, untill yesterday when i go to get in it an alarm went off, i didnt even know i had an alarm on the car, i have been calling the guy i got it from but it seems he has changed his number or something, i dont know much at all about5 cars but i know about electric as i am an electric designer, so i just need to know how to bypass the alarm system so i can start my car and get my kids to the doctor, please help a.s.a.p. thanks a ton in advance.

ANSWER: This system depends on the physical action
of the door lock locking and unlocking-arming and disarming.
If you have a factory remote, that would do this to
specifications.

This can only be achieved 3 ways:

1. Use key in the drivers door, turn left,
then right to disarm and unlock.

2. Add an after market keyless entry system to emulate
the factory remote functions. I have several models
if this option suits you.

3. Acquire or use & or, replace the original remote that
can control it as specified. This would be at the
local dealership parts department.

(This is why there is no wire you could ground
without affecting the door lock system.
A single negative pulse to the unlock wire will disarm
without unlocking, yes, but would always disable the
locking mechanism. Not good.)

Keep in mind, if this is after market
(siren and flashing parking lights)
then it's a different method entirely.

The standard method to disables as follows:

Look under the dash area for a button or, a toggle
switch. When you locate it, turn on the ignition
key, press and hold in the button (little
spring loaded micro button, red or black possibly)
until the alarm chirps 1 time. This should over ride
the system, and only the keyless entry part,
if installed, would still be operating.
The LED (light emitting diode) light in the dash
should also go on solid. If it's a toggle type,
then key on, flip the switch in the other direction
This would be OVERRIDE/VALET mode.

Repeat this process to toggle back to service mode.

That should correct your problem.

QUESTION: also its not that easy due to when i connect the red battery connection the alarm go off, so i will try to locate the switch be4 i try this i disconnected the battery hopeing it would reset the alarm like the 1st 2weeks i had it, does this bring up any other opinions?

Answer
Nope. Up to you if you want to poke n probe and try different things.
Why not? Maybe you will come up with the valet switch if
after market.

Just know that there is a wire that can be grounded out to take out the factory
system, and instructions to extract an after market alarm wire by wire available
for this car at the WIREWERX.

In any case,
Happy New Year.
