Car Alarms: 2002 ford explorer xlt alarm wont let me start the car, ford explorer xlt, vehicle security system

Question
QUESTION: I lost my girlfriends fob after she had armed the chapman vehicle security system alarm that came with the ford she then proceeded to enter the car with the key and no fob so the alarm went off and wouldn't stop so i took the chapman box out from under the steering column which stopped the alarm but made the brake lights come on and stay on plus i cannot start the car with or without the chapman box plugged in i tried doing the toggle switch thing with the key turned to ON but still nothing i went and looked for the door panel button code to enter it and see if that would stop the alarm found the code and entered it but still it wouldn't disable or turn off the alarm now they want me to get it towed to a dealership which tow plus dealership will cost 165$ which is money i don't have is there something i'm doing wrong to bypass it or any other route i can take without having to spend this money which we don't really have anyway any answers will be much appreciated thx

QUESTION: i appreciate the timely response i had already checked these link prior to posting my question i was just wondering was i doing the the steps wrong or if there was a significant reason that they weren't working for me because the fact that the alarm was already going off and the dash was flashing theft i've done the toggle switch process twice once in one direction and then in the other but never got a solid light on the dash or a beep

ANSWER: I'd remove it. I mean if it's not responding to the valet switches, then it's time to remove and repair. It' after market.
Start over and get fresh remotes to control it.
