Car Alarms: disarm the alarm, push button switch, motion sensor

Question
I wrote earlier about the chapman 450 alarm system in our 99 mazda miata. You stated that there would be either a toggle switch or a push button switch located under the dash. I looked and I have both, a toggle and push button switch. I tried the key on and hold till it beeps once with both switches pushed and I could only get it to beep 4 times. It wouldn't beep just once. I tried separately with the push button and then the toggle with the same results. The alarm is still armed. I removed the motion sensor located on the steering shaft under dash and it still arms and goes off. What am I doing wrong? I just want to disarm the system and leave it that way. Thanks for any expertise you can give me. Merry Christmas.

Answer
If not responding, it's best to remove and repair.
Go to the wirewerx (www.wirewerx.com)
and get the wiring chart for the vehicle
so you can retro fit the alarm, restore the vehicle's
integrity and starting capability and repair
the wiring to pre install condition.

Best way to make certain it's been extracted properly.
