Car Alarms: security system, buick park ave, spark plug wire

Question
QUESTION: I think my security system has locked my car. I just replaced the head gaskets. After putting everything back together, I started the car, it ran and shut it down. I forgot to put 1 spark plug wire on. The next morning I went to get new plug wires. When I returned ,I tried to start the car. It wouldn't start. I might have ran the battery down, because it just stopped turning the engine. I put a charger on, a few minutes latter I tried again and the starter won't engage. I have no dome lights, the trunk release inside the car but with the remote. Gages and radio work. The car is a 98 Buick Park Ave. 3.8 engine. Can you help?

QUESTION: I want to reset the alarm. There is another problem, the dome lights don't come on and the fuel door won't open from inside the car but the remote will open the door. The power door lock switch isn't working right.

Answer
All the repairs should be done to the damage
or it's likely that alarm will continue
to malfunction and none of these "fixes" will
work for you.

As far as resetting, you'll need to aquire the
PASSLOCK bypass kit or it won't happen at all.

Sorry, no short cuts are possible on this one.
