QUESTION: my new remote starter system also contains wiring that is needed for installation, i've also downloaded the wiring diagram for my 1994 Honda Civic. The only problem i got is, i dont know how would I bypass my old security system, to install the new one..

thank you and have a good day..

Answer
You would extract it wire by wire, leaving a bit of wire
to attached the new system wiring, and follow the notes
you received to do the installation to identify which is which.

Just locate what aftermarlet system wires that are attached
to the OEM Honda wiring. Clip each one by one off the
harness, just short enough to re asign to the new
remote starter harness.

Contact your equipment seller for the new system
you are about to install for
clarity on this for you. If he's a reputable
alarm salesman, he will also provide after sale
installation services as well.

Good luck.
