Car Alarms: car wont start - alarm maybe?, alpine stero, fuse panel

just purchased a 1986 Porsche 944 - it has an alpine stero / alarm system - I recently removed the stero
Car has been starting great until yesterday - I was pulling fuses from the fuse panel looking for a bad fuse - after going through all the fuses - and found no defective fuse - the car won't start - turns over Ok - but seems like there is no spark - there seems to be some after market wiring hooked to 2 of the fuses - I thought maybe I activated some kind of kill switch ?? is this possible ??
