Car Alarms: Disarming a crime stopper rs900er alarm, jeep grand cherokee, fuse box

Question
hello.  I recently purchased a 96 jeep Grand cherokee that the previous owner had a crime stopper cold start rs 900 er system installed in. he lost the remote and i accidently armed it by using the auto locks.  nothing I've tried has disarmed it...disconnecting the battery, removing the 30 amp inline fuses, disconnecting the plugs from the alarm brain, trying different sequences with the valet switch. The headlights and parking lights alternately flash, the red light on the dash is flashing, and the horn is going off.  I removed the horn fuse from the fuse box and shut that up At least.  I can start the vehicle, but the alarm shuts it off after a second...i took a cab home last night!! Any advice?  Thanks

Answer
Hmmmm,
Make sure you do the procedure correctly.
Might have missed a step:

PUT IGNITION KEY IN IGNITION,
KEY ON TO JUST BEFORE CRANKING THE ENGINE.
PRESS IN AND HOLD VALET SWITCH
UNTIL YOU GET A RESPONCE
FROM THE ALARM.

KEY OFF.

This should toggle the alarm in and out of
valet/override.

If toggle type switch.
KEY ON, FLIP SWITCH, KEY OFF,
START THE CAR.

I hope this solved it for you.
If not. look forward to removal/replacement
or repair.
