Car Alarms: k-9 alarm unit, acura integra, steering wheel

Question
I own an acura integra 95 and i have a k-9 "after market" alarm in my car. As i drive the alarm will set off and honk. the lights don't flash and no lights blink in the dash. It's very irritating and i know NOTHING about alarms. all the wires seem to look ok in the connections and by the way, it is wired into the steering wheel, if that helps any. P.S. i would like to keep it in the car. Thanks
