Car Alarms: Black Eagle car alarm, eagle car alarm, car alarm system

I have a 97' blazer that has a black eagle car alarm system model #RS8108 (which hasn;t worked since i'v had it-2yrs.) anyway i hit a pot hole and my car shut down. I'm told it is this alarm that's keeping my car from starting. How do I reset it or better yet disable it so I can start my car???? At A LOSS AND STRANDED!!!
