Car Alarms: remote starter, 12 volt, remote starter

i have a 02 chevy mc with a ungo (clarion) alarm system w/ remote start and it just had a gps installed on it and now my remote starter wont work and sometimes the remote will work and allow me to get into my car and at times it will just deactivate and not unlock doors, what is the prob
