Car Alarms: car alarm, prestige alarm, prestige car

QUESTION: I have a chevy with a prestige car alarm while driving the car it will quit running when i try to start it it will not start after sitting for a few minutes it would turn over and start the last time this happen it would not start again I cannot find a toggle switch or reset button what is causing it to stop running just like I turned the key off

ANSWER: Unlikely to be the aftermarket here.

That sound more like the issues you are having.
(If it was starter kill from the after market "Prestige"
alarm, you could not even crank it. No trying to start.
It would be dead.)

Yours is probably a Passlock issue
and you will find the optional solutions on that

QUESTION: my car is a 1968 chevelle it is acustom auto and did not have apasslock on it my alarm is aprestige #aps2k4ms it has an after market a.c. it did not work when I got the car since then the a.c. has been made to work I noticed both times my car quit running I had turned the a.c. on and drove it about amile when it quit runningthe 3rd time this happen it would not start againI do not know if turing the a.c. on had any thing to do with it or if this was just a coincedence
