Car Alarms: Automatic Starter, ford windstar, 12 volt

My 03'ford windstar has an automatic starter however it randomly turns it's self on is as if it has a timer i am not aware of is there a way to reset the remote starter it's wasting my gas without me even going anywhere i just happen to catch it or someone tells me the van is on again.
