Car Alarms: Alarm keeps going off, toyota rav 4, 2000 toyota rav 4

Question
I have a 2000 Toyota RAV 4,  when I bought it used they installed an alarm system at the dealership.  I just lost my keyless entry remote but my car is locked and every time I open the door my alarm goes off and now I can't start my car.  IS there away to turn this off so that I can start my car and just keep the alarm disabled?
