Car Alarms: Toad Alarm has imobilised the engine., fiat scudo van, toad alarm

Hi, I have a Fiat Scudo van which had a Toad Alarm fitted when I bought it.  The alarm seems to have imobilised the engine and so the van won't start.  Is there a way to re-set or over-ride the alarm?  Or, as I really don't need the alarm, is there a way to simply remove it, as I'd prefer my van to work that the alarm!  Thanks.  Ann
