THEFT SYSTEM ACTIVATING FOR NO APPARENT REASON. BELIEVE IT MAY BE A FAULTY MOTION SENSOR. WHERE IS THE MOTION SENSOR ON A FACTORY INSTALLED ANTI THEFT SYSTEM ON MY 200 ESCALADE.

Likely to be the PASSLOCK system.
If this is the case and your vehicle does not
start, it has nothing to do with a "motion sensor".
Factory alarms have no such device.

It's probably the same malfunctioning issue
that plague GM trucj users from that time period.

If this is after market, it may have a "motion sensor"
tucked under a rug or behind a panel somewhere, but odds
are it's the PASSLOCK fuel rail injection cut off system in
long tamper mode.

Needs a bypass kit.
