Car Alarms: Alarm sensitivity adjustment, scion tc, fcc id

Question
I have a problem with my alarm sensitivity to the point that the campus police has to pull me out of class to ask me to adjust it or get my car towed... anyway I have a 2006 Scion TC with dealer installed alarm system it has a brand name 1ATV "the first rule of vehicle security" FCC id: ELV143S I know there is a button by the left side of the steering wheel with a red light on it but I do not know how to adjust the sensitivity.
