Car Alarms: I cant start my car because of the alarm., alarmtek, toyota corolla

I have a 1988 Toyota corolla whit a original alarm (I think) the alarm when off and I it cut the power to the ignition. I search in the dash board and the kick panel for a button or a swish but dint find any. can you help me out??
