Car Alarms: code-alarm chirps when doors are open, toyota 4runner, site search engine

Question
i have an after market code brand alarm on my toyota 4runner.  usually, i can leave the doors open and nothing happens.  however, now, if i leave any of the doors open, it chirps 3 times about every 20 seconds.  when the car is on and i am driving, the led red light continuously blinks and it doesn't usually do this.  this happened before and i was able to find an answer on your site and reset it, but i am unable to find that question now.  can you help?
