Car Alarms: REF: Mitsubishi SUV Outlander 2003, auto responder, car battery

Question
Hi,
Two weeks ago i was going to work early one morning and my suv refused to start. The remote key has been dead for a year and have not been able to use the alarm. When i tried to start the car again two times it refused to start and the alarm went off and i was not able to stop it. I took out the car battery and took it to auto parts and they tested it and found that it was dead. I bought a new battery and installed it in the SUV. Once i connected the battery the alarm started blaring loudly non stop and i could not start the car. Now the car is on a shut down mode. I cannot start it and the alarm goes on continuously non stop. I disconnected the battery and tried to connect it the alarm went off again non stop. What can i do to stop the car alarm and my remote key entry does not work in switching off the alarm and also why can't my car start.
Please advise!!!
