Car Alarms: 2000 Nissan Altima Alarm System, nissan altima, cam sensor

My car broke down 2 weeks ago, got a new altenator, drove it for 1 week - it broke down again.  My mechanic has put a new starter, fuel pump, cam sensor, etc. on but it will not start.  We think it is something to do with the anti-theft security system on it.  Have tried several things i.e. disconnect battery, leave overnight, etc. turn key to on count to 5, do it again, then try to start it.  Any ideas?
