Car Alarms: viper 791xv problem, viper alarm system, keyless entry systems

My husband changed the battery on our car with the viper alarm system and ever since the alarm does not work. It doesn't arm, disarm or remote start, getting tire of manually locking and unlocking the car......pleassssssssssse help.
