Car Alarms: 99 Cougar Alarm, turn signals, auto responder

I am wanting to know how to stop my "alarm". My car will start beeping and the turn signals will flash. The beeping isn't the same as when the alarm goes off, but will do it at any time, driving parked or otherwise. Please help. I just want to disable the alarm system.
