Car Alarms: Starter Kill Switch, siren sounds, jeep wrangler

Question
Purchased a 97 Jeep Wrangler w/97k +/- miles in 06 from original owner. Never had problems till 3/4/10.  Driving on interstate 70mph. Car stereo turns off/on, battery gauge spikes and returns to normal, check gauges light flashes. Pull off highway and turn off ignition.  Try to restart car and ignition is dead, 4-ways are flashing and alarm siren sounds.  Had no clue that the car had an alarm system, never received fob or manual from original owner.  Turn ignition key to off position and alarm siren stops.  Lights remain flashing.  Searched for siren and cut wires.  Turn key to on position and 4-ways flash. While key is on pushed car for compression start, drove car 85m home.  Ignition kill switch is still engaged.  Can always start car via compression.  Not really interested in maintaining the alarm system.  Just want to be able to start the car.  Found a Stinger Double Guard Shock sensor installed under dash, when touched LED does light.  Trying to contact original owner but no luck. Guessing it may be a Viper system, is that a factory installed option or 3rd party?  Where can I find the ignition kill switch? Is it an easy un-plug or a wiring harness mess.  How do I disarm the alarm without fobs.  How do I disable the alarm totally.  Radio was stolen from the car in 08.  Do not recall alarm brain center installed behind radio in dash.  Can't believe that I have not run across this problem in the 3.5 years / over 30K miles I've owned the car.

Answer
For me, this is a classic "REMOVE, REPAIR, RE INSTALL"
issue.  If you look for the search bar at CARPROTECTOR.com
and use the keywords: VALET, OVERRIDE, AFTER MARKET ALARM DISARM<
you will see the past answers on this. But if it's me,
I'd extract the alarm entirely and start over.

Makes for a better over all experience rather than
patch, fix or jury rigg. Trouble waiting to happen there.

I sell the wiring for cars and trucks at www.WIREWERX.com
This may be handy not only in romoval, but for installation
for the next product.

Good luck. I hope this helps.
