Car Alarms: GMC Siera alarm, gmc siera, door locks

The factory alarm on my 04 GMC Siera started going off by itself.  It honks the horn and flashes the lights for about a minute then stops.  I recently replaced the battery, could this have something to do with it.  What do I need to do to get this annoying disturbance to stop?  It did this twice last night!

Hard to actually say what it is in such a new truck (relatively)
Yes on the Battery. The alarm determines and spike in battery power
and reports as it did. You may have some issues in the charging system
to have inspected.

The IM01 bypass for PASSLOCK/ALARM and door locks, and would correct
your situation, but only as a last resort I think.

Have it evaluated at GM if unsure you corrected it.
