Car Alarms: car alarm problem, replacement transmitters, replacement remotes

Question
I have a 1999 Toyota 4Runner.  Recently it took more and more presses of the lock or unlock buttons on my fob to activate or deactivate the alarm system.  Naturally, i believed it to be the fob battery. I replaced the fob battery and...nothing. Now I have to lock and unlock the car manually which is fine, but I definitely want the alarm back.  Is it as simple as ordering a new fob with programming instructions included, do I need to go to a dealer first to make sure the problem is not with the alarm as opposed to the fob, or is there something I'm missing that needs to be done when you replace the fob battery to get the alarm up and running again?  Help...

Answer
Looking for replacement remotes Or programing info?
Well sorry, but I don't provide that info here,
however, I can help.

Try the site I use here in my own store when looking
into replacing OEM/FACTORY & AFTER MARKET
remotes. They may be able to provide programming
instructions as well.

This site is tops in replacement transmitters and
will most likely have yours as well.

Go to www.CarRemoteStore.com

I hope they can get you
what you require.

Good luck.
