Car Alarms: after market alarm doesnt work, flip switch, honda accord

Question
My car is honda accord 2000. The car alarm(aftermarket) suddenly didn't work that night after i parked the car. The brand is Audiofonics ADF-223. I press the lock/unlock button and it won't chirp/lock/unlock. I check the remote and it's still good. The car battery and remote battery are also still good. I tried to press the button few times underneath the dash on the left where you left leg is, near the plastic panel (red press-down button type) and it's still didn't work. I haven't tried anything else since then. Could you kindly help to figure out how to fix it and how did this error happen? thanks so much.

Answer
Make sure you do the procedure correctly.
Might have missed a step:

PUT IGNITION KEY IN IGNITION,
KEY ON TO JUST BEFORE CRANKING THE ENGINE.
PRESS IN AND HOLD VALET SWITCH
UNTIL YOU GET A RESPONSE
FROM THE ALARM.

KEY OFF.

This should toggle the alarm in and out of
valet/override.

If toggle type switch.
KEY ON, FLIP SWITCH, KEY OFF,
START THE CAR.

I hope this solved it for you.
