Car Alarms: Prestige Alarm, prestige alarm, jeep wrangler

Hi, First off, I think the work you do here is GREAT!!!  Alright, my father in law has a 1995 Jeep wrangler. He bought it about 5 years ago. On the remote it says Prestige. He can not start the jeep, the alarm and light start going off when he tries to disconnect it, he actually cut the horn wire because it got annoying. He would like to remove the alarm all together. He thinks it is a factory alarm, I told him I do not believe it is, can you confirm that?  Can you tell me how to remove this alarm that would be fantastic. Thanks again so much you guys.
