Car Alarms: UNGO alarm key fob short, resident technicians, fobs

Question
I installed an UNGO alarm in my truck when I purchased it new in 2001.  Other than replacing the batteries, the fobs have been fine.  This past year, the fob I was using shorted. I was stuck out on errands and the disabler for the engine was activated despite me being able to get into the truck.  I used a piece of metal to "reshort" and get the truck started but haven't used the fobs since d/t the short.  Can I get fobs replaced?  or does the entire system need to be reworked, and by whom? O/w, I have original Ford fobs I can potentially get reinstalled...just don't know which direction to go.  Thank you.

Answer
On this one, the best thing here is
to go to my installers forum at
www.installsupport.com and see if
my resident technicians there can assist
with this project. I don't know enough
on this system to advise you properly.

Good luck there.
