Car Alarms: doors automaticaly unlock after auto alarm was installed, pontiac firebird, key switch

I recently had an autopage car-pro alarm system (cpx-2650) installed in my 1993 Pontiac firebird. It had a factory alarm that has not worked in years. When I am driving the vehicle the doors unlock automatically. What is the cause and the solution for this problem.

Unusual that it's getting an unlock signal.
Hard to say why except that the ignition connection
should be examined and the door lock function is
tied into the ignition on or off wire and
if incorrect, would cause a cascade of issues.

I would inspect the main connections
at the key switch.
