Car Alarms: having problems starting car., chevy malibu, passlock ii

I have a 2001 chevy malibu and a few years ago I had my ignition changed and I have had problems starting the car since that time. It will start up sometimes, but it is not reliable. Could this problem connected the car once having a keyless alarm and can this alarm be diconnected, so that the alarm system is bypassed.

Could be ma'am. But more likely to be a common PASSLOCK II flaw.
Bad design. Notoriusly so if you look at
how many people come to me to fix it. :>(

Have a look at the options you have at

the PLJX bypass kit.
