Car Alarms: key lost communication w/ immobilizer system

Question
I have a 2004 Honda Odyssey, the key has lost communication with the Immobilizer System and car won't start.  Honda wants me to have it towed in so they can go throught the sequence that will reset it.
I saw you have posted how to override the alarm system so car will start will that same thing work with the Immobilizer System?
I have the original keys neither one will work.

It's likely that there is damage in the sensor
collar at the ignition switch.

I would have to say have it inspected for that
prior to a bypass kit to see if there
is anything else holding it up.
But if not, and the sensor at the ignition tumbler
is bad or going bad, then yes, I think
the proper bypass kit (PKALL) would help here.
