Car Alarms: keyless remote starters, replacement transmitters, remote starters

does hyundai make their own remote starters? because I got a used one and i have a remote starter and I cant figure out if it came with hyundai or another owner put it on there.

No ma'am. Hyundai does not supply
remote starters on they're vehicles.

It's likely to have been put in at the dealers
before selling, or the last owner did indeed
install one.

Using the remotes, go to a site the does
replacement transmitters to at least ID the
manufacturer, and then you may be able to locate
a manual for it. Or, take to a local car alarm
shop and have them extract the brain box from
under the drivers dash, and see if they can ID it.
