Car Alarms: uninstall car alarm, mercury villager, brain box

My car is a 1995 Mercury villager, I had an alarm system installed in my car about 5yrs ago. The problem I'm having is that I can disable the alarm. I tried to turn the ignition on and hold the reset button for alarm and it still didn't work. I took it to a professional auto place and they could not locate the box in order for them to uninstall it. I really need for it to work ASAP i can drive unless the alarm stops. On top of that my remote don't work because i just bought it so it needs to be activated for my car which i can do as well please help me.

So, ok, I am confused? What exactly do you think I
could offer here if the Pro's could not even locate the
brain box of your alarm? I mean they are right there, and I am out in
cyber space, so if the alarm shop could not locate it.....?
