Car Alarms: 94 mustang gt factory alarm settings, fcc id number, mustang gt

I recently purchased a used 94 mustang gt .Within a minute of taking the key out of the ignition or unlocking the doors the alarm automatically arms.Can this setting be changed? Its quite annoying when cleaning or working on car.

All alarms are different when it comes to feature settings.
you will need to look in you manual for the
"passive" or "active" arming settings to
make the change. The procedures and possible
pin switch settings all differ from manufacturer
to manufacturer.

You will need to ID your system, and then aquire
the book on it if you do not have yours currently to
get this done.
