Car Alarms: Rattler DEI RPN 471T Remote, designtech, avital

Question
This remote is not working and I was able to turn off the alarm, therefore every time I open the dorr the alarm would come on.  I since have disarmed the siren so it would be soundless, but the alarm system is still alive.

Is there a way to disarm the alarm permamently?
